Internships & Field Experience
Internships and Field Experiences are valuable opportunities that allow you to gain experience and further explore your intended field of interest working alongside professionals in that field. These work/study opportunities introduce you to many aspects of full-time employment while building your resume.
What is the difference between an Internship and Field Experience?
Internships and Field Experience are both supervised, structured learning experiences in a professional setting that allow you to gain valuable work experience in your chosen field. In addition to the workplace, Field Experience includes a training component and instructional time in the classroom. Since Field Experience contains a classroom component, you will receive a letter grade on your transcript. Internships are Pass/Fail.
Field Experience is available in Education and Psychology (including ABA).
