9th Annual Women in the Workplace Seminar

On Wednesday, April 28th, students joined our ninth annual seminar on “Women in the Workplace”. The seminar featured Rabbi Moshe Hauer, executive vice president of the OU and Rebbetzin Eve Levy, Rebbetzin of Congregation Ahavat Achim in Portland, OR. “Women in the Workplace” is one of the many programs throughout the year designed to prepare young women for success in the professional world. Noted mechanches Mrs. Rachel Neuberger opened the event, delineating the goals of the day. She explained that these annual seminars have proven to be enormously helpful in preparing young women to meet challenges of the workplace. The program is designed to equip participants with professional and social skills and attitudes, and the proper hashkafic perspectives and halachic directives that are crucial to their success.
