Adina Levitan, 2014 Alumna
My name is Adina Levitan. I am the Mattie Miracle Cancer Foundation Child Life Specialist at Sinai Hospital. My primary role is to provide support to children with cancer and other blood disorders. During my day, I help children cope with being in the hospital by preparing and supporting them during procedures, educating them about their diagnosis, and providing play and normalization activities. I also have the privilege of pushing a Family Snack Cart throughout my unit so families and patients can have a treat during their hospital stay.
